We collect your personal data when you register your membership with our cooperative, apply for any of the cooperative's financial products (savings, thrifts and lending Services), download our user applications, use our physical or online market place (Brickfish Stores) for buying and selling, provide us with information via a web form, or otherwise interact with us.

We also collect personal data from other sources and share data with Affiliates, credit agencies or bureaus, and data providers. Our privacy policy includes all parts of the approved by-laws of Brickfish Multipurpose Cooperative and regulations by the Cross River State Government and the laws regulating the establishment and management of cooperative societies in Nigeria.

Why We Collect Your Data

Under the Cooperative Registration Law of Nigeria, Brick-fish Cooperative is mandated to collect member data. We choose how to share your personal information. There are relevant laws that give you the right to limit some but not all sharing of information. Such laws also require us to tell you how we collect, share, and protect your personal information.

The types of personal information we collect and share depend on the product or service you have subscribed with us. This information can include:

All financing and trading cooperatives need to collect and share members' personal information to run their everyday business.

Brickfish Multipurpose Cooperative is a credit information provider and may access provide your personal information to the national credit registry under the national credit registry Act.

Your choices will apply to everyone with your account unless you tell us otherwise, provided that such choices do not exclude or hinder us from providing you the services and products that you signed up with us.
