Steps to Apply

Complete Loan Application Form

Obtain a loan application form from any of our branches or complete the online application form on the website below. Loan applications attract a fee of NGN4,500 for members and NGN6,500 for non-members

Submit with Documentation

Submit completed form with necessary documentation such as NIN slip , Proof of Address, letter from suitable guarantor to our Account Service Officer in any of our branches nearest to you. For further information, please, send your inquiries to contact.brickfishcooperative@gmail.com

Sign & Collect Cheque

We will notify you if your loan application has been approved or not through your selected channel on file. Upon notification of loan approval, visit our office nearest to you to sign the loan agreement and repayment schedule. Once all processes have been completed, your Bank Account number provided will be credited.

Eligibility & Loan Terms

Member Loans

  • • Eligibility: Must be a member with savings for at least 6 months
  • • Interest Rate: 6% monthly interest (lower or higher depending on your risk rating)
  • • Collateral: None required for members accessing less than 200% of their savings

Non-Member Loans

  • • Eligibility: must have registered to become a member and presented a member guarantor
  • • Interest Rate: 10% monthly (may be higher or lower depending on risk rating)
  • • Collateral: Collateral or member guarantor is required

Note: Members must be thrift holders or shareholders to apply for a loan. Unless guaranteed by shareholders, non-members shall not be granted a loan.

Note: Borrowers cannot apply loans for reasons other than the purpose stated in this form.

  • • Application Fee: NGN2,000 (₦1,000-₦500,000), NGN4,000 (₦501,000-₦1,000,000), NGN5,000 (₦1,001,000+)
  • • Membership Fee: NGN1,000 (renewal), NGN2,000 (new members)
  • • Interest Rate: 6% - 18.8% monthly depending on applicant credit risk rating
  • • Credit Search Fee: NGN2,000 (Brickfish MPC is a credit information provider under the National Credit Bureau Act 2017)
  • • Payment: Pay required fees to FirstBank 3028554078 | Account: Brickfish Multipurpose Cooperative
  • • Required Documents: Photocopy of NIN and Proof of address (utility bill or rent agreement)
